A Talent for Love

Twenty-two-year-old Ella Rivers is orphaned and deep in debt, supporting herself as a waitress and house cleaner. Billionaire heir Ethan Lancaster makes a bet with his friend Ryan to win her heart by pretending to be a poor deliveryman. Ella recognizes him at once—she saw him in his $450,000 luxury car a year ago—but loneliness makes her play along. Over three months, Ethan truly falls for her. He works, cooks and helps her claim compensation, yet his lies keep mounting. Once the truth comes out, Ella leaves quietly. She uses his breakup money to clear debts, cuts all contact and leaves town, then enters college to rebuild her life. Full of remorse, Ethan is hurt and hospitalized saving her in heavy rain. Softly but firmly, Ella says his love is real, yet his deception hurt her deeply; he must pay for his arrogant game. Finally, she sends back all his money, refuses his family’s help, and sets off to live for herself.
