Her research is maliciously plagiarized and distorted by her ex-boyfriend Henry Yates, turning warm companion robots into cold, service-oriented tools. Disheartened, she resigns and takes away the "defective" robot PWL-000, which was supposed to be destroyed. Little does she know, a huge secret is sealed inside this machine.
