My Mermaid Bodyguard Stole My Heart

A brave mermaid princess leaves the ocean and lands a job as a bodyguard for a tormented wealthy heir. Paralyzed from a poacher‑orchestrated accident, the man sets a 90‑day euthanasia schedule, having lost all desire to keep living. The mermaid constantly intervenes in his closed‑off life and slowly reawakens his will to survive, and genuine love grows between them. His greedy former fiancée and her accomplice chase the mermaid, hoping to capture her and cash in on her special aquatic abilities. She risks herself and sacrifices her native mermaid magic to save the heir. After experiencing kidnapping, deadly laboratory fights and risky underwater adventures, the heir gives up his human identity and turns into a merman. They defeat the vicious conspirators, ease conflicts between humans and undersea inhabitants, and finally achieve sincere mutual redemption.
